Responsibilities

  • We are looking for a Role Analyst to join our busy Grading Team.
  • The Grading Team undertakes job evaluation for all new roles put forward for grading, or existing roles submitted for regrading, within the University using the HERA grading system.
  • The Role Analyst will be a key part of this process by undertaking the formal review of roles.
  • In addition the role plays an important part in supporting Departments and HR staff by providing expert advice on areas of pay.
  • You will have a detailed understanding of job evaluation process, ideally through experience of working with HERA but this could be with other job evaluation schemes.
  • Additionally to this you will have the ability to work on your own initiative, prioritise work, maintain accuracy, confidentiality and work to tight deadlines.
