Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of various compensation programs including but not limited to: salary structure, annual and short-term incentive programs, annual compensation benchmarking and program review, job evaluations, etc.
  • Act as an internal consultant and provides guidance to the junior members on the team to address compensation related inquiries.
  • Responsible for researching market trends and pay levels; collaborate with Business Partners to support and provide guidance regarding compensation related requests.
  • Work independently to complete day-to-day tasks, including job evaluations, benchmarking studies, etc. Performs internal and external competitive market pay research, analysis and recommendations for positions, pay structures, job classification and pay practices.
  • Participate in the research and design/modifications, as well as administration and maintenance of all base and incentive pay programs.
  • Conduct special studies requiring job analysis, job evaluation, or similar techniques. Develops analytic reports related to pay practices and cost analysis. Provides assistance with modeling and costing of compensation related changes in support of organizational philosophy and strategies.
  • Provide training and educational tools to communicate compensation programs, guidelines and tools available.
  • Assist with management of compensation projects as assigned in collaboration with external consultants as well as and internal business partners.
  • Maintain understanding of external reward environment, including changes in legal, regulatory and best practice approaches.
  • Identify, analyze and complete appropriate survey sources to support compensation needs.
  • Interface with HRIS on compensation related systems, requirements and tools.
  • Partner with IT to develop best practices solutions to build innovative and efficient compensation systems and programs.
  • Work on various compensation related projects and act as a key team member in the redesign and implementation of the company’s compensation processes.
