Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert legal advice on complex areas of UK employment law to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to develop and implement strategic legal solutions.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to HR colleagues to effectively drive and manage complex workplace investigations and disputes.
  • Advise on employment-related policies and procedures.
  • Advise on a wide range of complex employment issues, including grievances and disciplinaries processes, ill-health, bullying, harassment and discrimination, TUPE and contentious work including Employment Tribunal litigation.
  • To be a technical subject matter expert and to maintain and share that knowledge with the team.
  • Analyse, synthesise and present complex legal matters and risks to key stakeholders including senior management.
  • Supervise more junior team members and provide support to line managers in the management of the team.
