Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting
  • Financial reporting for various properties including timely and accurate recording of monthly results obtained from service providers;
  • Financial reporting for certain corporate structures including timely and accurate recording of monthly results obtained from service providers;
  • Month end review and reporting to Corporate Consolidations team: preparation of journal entries, bank reconciliations, month end key indicator and variance analysis against budgets, equity, investment and intercompany account reconciliations, cash management, general and administrative expense analysis, foreign exchange analysis etc.;
  • Preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements or review of financial statements prepared by third party service providers in various jurisdictions, ensuring consistent application of accounting standards in accordance with local GAAP or IFRS;
  • Technical analysis to ensure appropriate accounting treatment for acquisitions and dispositions; and
  • Completing ad-hoc analyses as required by management.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis And Operational Support
  • Review and analysis of annual operating plans and quarterly reforecasts with our various teams and asset managers;
  • Performance measurement and maintaining an understanding of what drives key variances to plan/forecast for assigned portfolio, as well as helping our asset managers tell the story for their sectors; and
  • Assisting with the execution of portfolio strategies, including supporting the investments team on the execution of transactional activity.
  • Process Innovation And Controls
  • Participation in projects with a focus on continuous improvement and making recommendations for efficiencies in day to day responsibilities; and
  • Ensure compliance with Oxford’s processes and controls.
