Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of HR Managers, Business Partners and HR Generalists in Canada, the US, and LATAM
  • Partner with regional business leaders to understand business objectives and translate them into effective people programs. Serve as a member of the Americas Leadership team.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify talent needs and develop strategies for attracting, retaining, and developing top talent.
  • Develop and implement HR initiatives that support business growth, talent management, and organizational development across the Americas region.
  • Collaborate with and provide strategic input on talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management to the global and regional HR COEs ensuring alignment, teamwork and effective communication.
  • Lead conversations and implement outcomes of succession planning, and career development initiatives tailored to the region.
  • Lead the development and execution of regional HR policies and procedures that are consistent with global company standards and adapted to local needs.
  • Monitor and analyze regional people metrics to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with our Employee Relations team, to address and resolve complex employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and performance excellence.
  • Promote a diverse and inclusive workplace through various company, ERG initiatives and programs.
  • Ensure adherence to local, regional, and global labor laws and regulations.
  • Manage HR compliance audits and address any issues or findings in a timely manner.
  • Share best practices and insights with HR peers globally to drive consistency and innovation.
  • Represent the HR function in regional leadership meetings and contribute to broader business strategies.
