Responsibilities

  • Advise Amadeus Management on what integration/divestment approach to take and where to prioritize investment.
  • Preparation of integration/divestment strategy for review by accountable Directors and VPs.
  • Preparation of document for approval of integration/divestment strategy by the Investment committee, ExCom and Board of Directors, in collaboration with the M&A deal team.
  • Develop and propose the integration/divestment strategy (Go to market, Delivery, Support and corporate services) and agree with the acquiring/divesting business unit.
  • Define, implement and programme manage the specific objectives to allow the implementation of the individual strategic agendas for each new programme, taking account of both the customer and internal view.
  • Identify and analyse the key gaps and/or themes related to the execution of the strategy and/or integration/divestment programme.
  • Lead the program management of the integration/divestment of the entity - proactively monitor its progress, resolving issues, identifying risks, initiating appropriate corrective action and ensuring effective governance and budget management.
  • Assess and drive the validation of the synergy assumptions. Work with functional (business support) owners to identify and execute initiatives to drive synergies.
  • Set up the tracking and monitoring system to enable efficient management of the programme in line with agreed objectives.
  • Ensure global buy-in and responsibility for results.
  • Use various management techniques to drive, measure, check, (pivot), evaluate and communicate to ensure overall alignment.
  • Participate in the preparation and information cross checking for presentation of such projects to the Investment Committee, M&A committee, ExCom and others.
  • Update the Amadeus methodology / Intellectual Property, including all playbooks, briefing decks, checklists, and templates.
  • Own and continuously improve the Amadeus methodology for Integrations and Divestments.
  • Make sure there is knowledge transfer between the company acquired and Amadeus teams in order to improve processes/methodologies on both sides.
