Responsibilities

  • If successful, you'll manage a varied caseload of high value, high complexity cases. You'll be responsible for the protection of both ours and our client's reputations, so you'll adhere to high standards conducting expert advice and maintaining strong professional relationships to ensure the best possible outcome. You'll also actively engage with the Defendant to ensure the issues are narrowed and the case settled to the client's satisfaction.
  • Provide clear and concise advice to the client on various matters. You'll work closely with them, ensuring that actions taken are in line with their instructions and that the appropriate evidence is obtained to prove debt in defended actions.
  • Respond to escalated issues from the client's customers as required in accordance with regulations, procedures, policies, and client service level agreements ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Represent our client at trial as advocate either from the office via the telephone, or physically in Court.
  • Make recommendations to the line manager concerning commercial and legal decisions about case strategy and options for settlement.
  • Demonstrate effective research skills.
  • Draft legal applications, draft orders, agreements, legal letters, complaints, and other correspondence.
  • Manage deadlines and maintain case files.
