What is the primary responsibility of the Senior Sales Manager?
The primary responsibility of the Senior Sales Manager is to lead the expansion plan for the digital business and manage new revenue generation while retaining the existing customer base in Germany.
What qualifications are required for this position?
A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar fields, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Maritime industry, is required.
Is prior experience in sales necessary for this role?
Yes, significant and successful working experience in a sales position and/or customer support is required for this role.
What languages must candidates be fluent in?
Candidates must be fluent in both English and German, both written and spoken. Additional language skills are considered a plus.
Will I need to travel for this position?
Yes, the role requires availability to travel for approximately 20% of the working time.
What types of customers will I be interacting with?
You will be interacting with a range of customers and stakeholders at all levels, from executives to operational professionals in key companies within the maritime industry.

You will report to the Global Head of Sales and Operations for Digital Solutions, based in Switzerland, and have a dotted line reporting structure to the Country Manager for Germany.
