Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of manufacturing operations, develops, and implements manufacturing operations improvement strategies and activities to achieve safety, quality, delivery, performance, and cost improvement in manufacturing in line with the site objectives and key results.
  • Is ultimately responsible for the operation results in the Site (SQCDM), owns the Site P&L and budget, sets, and follows up site budget, targets, objectives and proactively drives internal and external competitiveness.
  • Ensures the Site is legally and Essity compliant, ensure and prepare audit conformity and is a Role Model for Safety Sets up and run the factory organization in line with Essity guidelines.
  • Manages the Site Union relations, jointly with HR and in harmony with the other sites in the country.
  • Is the interface between internal & external stakeholders and the Site and represents the Site’s technology and production capability in the relevant networks.
  • Expected to drive growth together with commercial around the globe.
  • A key element of this role is to ensure operational excellence by driving simplification, automation, and effective collaboration by all partners in a service delivery process.
  • Apply lean manufacturing principles (TPM) in designing, specifying, and validating world-class manufacturing processes that achieve organizational goals to achieve sustainable, continuous improvement of operations to gain a competitive advantage, lower costs, and increase profit.
  • Develops the Factory Management Team (Factory, Unit, Line and Process Engineers) on HMex principles through personal involvement and in collaboration with central HMex resources.
  • Develops drives and owns the Strategic initiatives & capabilities required, aligned with the Business Strategy via Site Compelling Business Need.
  • Through effective cross-functional collaboration ensure that all Capital and Innovation Projects relevant to the site are implemented effectively in line with operational and performance objectives and collaborate with functional departments in the implementation of improvements.
  • Investigate and implement innovative manufacturing processes to reduce costs and improve product quality.
  • Drive a performance culture fueled by authentic caring.
  • Provides clear leadership, coaching, direction-priority setting and energizes her/his people in their workplace.
  • Creates positive change by inspiring and motivating the production team.
