The primary responsibility of the Site Installation Manager is to manage the planning and scheduling of installation, post installation check-out, and all field activities in coordination with the Testing teams, while also being the key interface with the customer and their engineers.
What qualifications are required for this position?
A post-secondary Technologist diploma or Engineering degree in Electrical or Mechanical is required, along with 7+ years of relevant working experience.
Is specific industry experience necessary for this role?
Yes, working knowledge of installation, testing, and operations of communications and security systems is necessary. Experience in the telecommunication/SCADA domain is desired, and rail experience is a plus.
What safety responsibilities does the Site Installation Manager have?
The Site Installation Manager manages all aspects of safety on-site and serves as the Site Safety Representative for the project, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety requirements.
