Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Cork Finance team through internal and external reporting and compliance
  • Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close procedures
  • General Ledger responsibilities including, but not limited to review and preparation of monthly management reporting packages
  • Review of monthly balance sheet and income statement flux variance analyses and account reconciliations for management reporting
  • Prepare and review journal entries based on supporting reconciliations and schedules
  • Support in annual subs audits
  • Lead and assist with implementation and adherence of SOX and other internal control compliance
  • Assist on all mergers/acquisitions of international entities as required
  • Lead and assist in process improvement projects, including coordination with cross-functional teams
  • Lead and assist with the implementation of new accounting policies
  • Support in the procure to pay process
  • Liaising with key stakeholders
  • Act as a mentor, coach, and advisor to team members, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and professional development
