Responsibilities

  • Engage in solution consulting and pre-sales activities, providing solution and product expertise during the sales cycle. This generally involves supporting the specialist sales teams to define and scope the appropriate solution to fulfill customer needs
  • Understand customer requirements/needs and find the best solution within Thomson Reuters suite of Direct tax products, including ONESOURCE Tax Provision, Corporate Tax, Trusts, Global Minimum Tax and Statutory Reporting, to develop a suitable and strong proposal which can create difference from competitors.
  • Manage, lead and execute technical product demonstrations, effectively communicating complex solutions to clients and partners during the customer buying cycle, including maintaining a best-in-class demonstration environment(s)
  • Support key marketing / partner marketing and thought leadership initiatives, including representing Thomson Reuters in relevant webinars and in-person events
  • Respond quickly to new leads working with urgency to progress deals through the sales cycle
  • Develop and help to close new opportunities to meet and exceed recurring and outright Gross Sales quotas
  • Keep up to date with news and changes in policy, regulations and activities of major players in the industries to have sufficient domain knowledge to lead discussion with customers and present thought leadership, insight and expertise in public forums
  • Use Salesforce and other client relationship management databases to maintain customer and opportunity data with discipline to enhance customer insight and ensure accurate forecasting
  • Assist in key retention situations, bringing domain expertise relevant to the customer – as agreed with the appropriate stakeholders
  • Act as an advocate for customer needs to the business and product team.
  • Assist with complex renewals
  • Refresh annual improvements in organizational effectiveness (client-centricity, customer approach, rapid decision making)
  • Client engagement with key clients to help drive the closure of complex deals
  • Presentations across internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development
