Responsibilities

  • 1. Assist with performing recurring tasks required to administer and execute human resources programs including but not limited to maintenance of teammate records and data related to employment, training and development, classification and compensation, payroll, leave administration, performance and talent management, talent acquisition, teammate engagement initiatives, recognition, and wellness.
  • 2. Completes and distributes/files personnel records, position, payroll, and application documents to ensure the security, storage, and retrieval of information pertinent to personnel transactions. Assist with on-boarding and off-boarding.
  • 3. Assists in the coordination of HR programs, functions, and/or processes to ensure compliance with State Personnel rules, labor-management agreements and contracts, and administrative procedures.
  • 4. Assist with scheduling interviews with and interviews applicants to obtain information about their educational and employment background for current and/or anticipated position vacancies and to determine the qualifications relative to the job preparation guidelines for the classes.
  • 5. Responds to employment-related inquiries from applicants, teammates, and managers, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to higher-level HR professionals.
