Responsibilities

  • Develops, leads, and executes the people strategy for global Digital Technology, Strategy and Corporate Development, and develops and implements strategic programs across all locations that result in enhanced business success.
  • Builds and leverages cross-functional, and regional partnerships to shape, influence and drive business results.
  • Serves as the primary HR consultant and confidant to your assigned Enterprise Functional leaders.
  • Partners with business leaders to develop and execute both short- and long-term organizational effectiveness strategies that directly support an effective transition from strategy formulation to achieving results.
  • Executes global resourcing and talent management strategies, including identifying performance gaps, overseeing annual and long-term workforce planning, compensation interventions, and supporting leaders to accelerate Inclusion and Diversity objectives.
  • Understands data and monitors workforce analytics/trends to identify and diagnose root causes of issues, as well as ensure action on Culture and other pulse survey results to improve the employee experience.
  • Advises VPs and Senior Directors on VF HR policies and processes to ensure fair and equitable application for all VF associates.
  • Partners with global employment counsel, Labor relations, and employee relations to advise management and ensure actions are compliant with legal requirements in each state and country.
  • Acts as an organizational coach who builds capabilities, reduces complexity, and partners with clients to maximize team performance.
  • Provides strategic coaching to key employees as related to succession planning, career path development, and performance management.
  • Drives positive employee relations strategy to ensure an open, transparent, and desirable work environment for associates.
  • Provides thought leadership and insights into HR best practices and leverage and influence VF COE tools to incorporate gain efficiencies.
  • Cultivates strong HR region, brand, and COE relationships/partnerships to enable the overall work and culture.
  • Ensures organization transformation and change management to better succeed in market, create speed, introduce entry level roles, strengthen product category leadership capability, develop organizational design, and provide change acceleration for large change initiatives.
  • Assigns and directs daily tasks.
  • Reviews and evaluates the performance of direct reports.
  • Evaluates direct reports on a timely basis to establish new goals and provide constructive feedback on previous goals.
