Responsibilities

  • Assist in directing a team of entry and mid-level Landscape Architects and designers.
  • Work on the incoming queue of projects required for conceptual, schematic, design development and construction document execution and/or plan deliverables with Parks, Sidewalks and Trails team.
  • Support and enhance processes and procedures in document production.
  • Assist in directing project research including site analysis, program development, project scope definition and budgets.
  • Provide production CAD support and technical support to the team.
  • Provide support for preparation of documents and exhibits required for project delivery.
  • Participate in regular project and team review meetings.
  • Work collaboratively with Landscape Architects, Project Managers, Subject Matter Experts (SME) and Engineers to provide design support during planning, design, and construction for projects.
  • Train and mentor staff in relevant technical and design areas.
  • Negotiation and management of consultant/sub-consultant contracts.
