Responsibilities

  • - Ensure outstanding care is given to all children who attend the paediatric assessment unit at Calderdale Royal Hospital.
  • - Maintain and enhance skills by offering programmes such as APLS and days catered towards the safe stabilisation of the critically ill child.
  • - Support both pre and post graduate students through a close relationship with The University of Huddersfield.
  • - Encourage all staff members to complete the mentorship course offered to them.
  • - Seek ways to improve the standard of the learning environment.
  • - Provide high standard of care for all patients.
  • - Develop a close and supportive bond as a team.
  • - Offer flexible working hours and rotation to the inpatient ward areas.
