Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements for products/services, creating comprehensive RFx documents including specifications, evaluation criteria and terms, and managing the RFx process including distribution, vendor communication, and response evaluation.
  • Assisting the Strategic Sourcing Leader in conducting market research to identify potential vendors, evaluate vendor qualifications and capabilities and financial stability.
  • Assisting the Strategic Sourcing Leader in analyzing vendor proposals including pricing and contractual terms, negotiating contracts with vendors to optimize costs/terms and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure business needs are met.
  • Assisting the Strategic Sourcing Leader to manage contract negotiations, work with Legal to draft and finalize contracts, and ensure terms align with organization standards.
  • Supporting the Strategic Sourcing Leader to utilize data analytics to drive insights and provide reporting on sourcing/procurement activities, prepare reports to stakeholders on key sourcing metrics, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Collaborating with cross functional teams (e.g., Risk, Privacy, & Security) to ensure vendor assessments are completed and satisfy organization standards.
  • Building and maintaining close business partner relationships with key stakeholders across multiple levels and providing procurement knowledge and best practices to support business priorities.
