Description
- Thales is looking for a System Test Engineer – New Graduate to be responsible for participating in planning and the efficient IVV execution for In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) systems, aircraft communication systems and supporting systems. He/she assures that the appropriate means and practices are applied to guarantee the adherence to defined requirements and quality standards with minimal wasted effort or inefficiencies.
- In this position you will also be responsible for contributing to the test plan and reports, assuring that the scope of the IVV activities fully covers all aspects of the system under test, while taking all previous verification activities on comparable systems into account to optimize the test effort
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or technology with 0-2 years’ experience or Master’s degree in field with 0-2+ years’ experience.
- Knowledge of Unix /Linux/ Android systems.
- Knowledge of Ethernet networks.
- Use of common defect management and tools (JIRA, ClearQuest).
- Use of common requirements management and tools (JAMA) and Agile and other common tools (JIRA, VersionOne).
- Experience with MS products such as Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint.

- Special Position Requirements:
- Schedule: Core Business Hours Monday-Friday
- Travel: Willing to travel on occasion both domestically as well as internationally (up to 10%)

- Contributes to the creation of test plans and reports.
- Works to committed testing durations and identifies testing and project risks.
- Identifies and tracks defects for the assigned testing scope.
- Participate in Scrum Teams and upholds Agile values and principles.
