Requirements

  • You will need experience of delivering, monitoring and planning services at an operational level undertaking change management and implementing new ways of working within a children’s social care arena. Knowledge of immigration issues for people with no recourse to public funds is desirable but can be learnt whilst in position.
  • You will need to demonstrate experience of successfully managing activity against performance targets and experience of decision making and taking action on complex/high risk cases and managing risk in respect of child safety.
  • Please note that this role is subject to an Enhanced DBS Check.

Responsibilities

  • The role will lead and manage the delivery of high-quality social work activities within the NRPF Team to achieve the best possible outcomes for adults, children and families with no recourse to public funds who are in need.
  • The position has a high level of focus on the development and raising of quality of social work practice and standards and budget management.
  • You will need experience of delivering, monitoring and planning services at an operational level undertaking change management and implementing new ways of working within a children’s social care arena.
