Responsibilities

  • Manage operation, maintenance, Set To Work (STW), testing, commissioning, and trials for the following HCF systems:
  • 690V power generation
  • Power conversion, charging, and backup supply
  • Electrical distribution and lighting
  • Hull preservation and marine growth prevention
  • Platform Management Systems
  • Auxiliary control, monitoring, and detection
  • Aircraft lighting, charging, and miscellaneous electrical systems
  • Support the T&C Manager in developing and adhering to T&C schedules, budgets, and managing risk profiles in the T&C Risk Register.
  • Oversee technical staff development, including competency frameworks, training plans, and the management of a team of up to 30 technical staff.
  • Collaborate with the T&C Manager on executing the T&C program, identifying necessary skills, and managing cross-training to avoid single points of failure.
  • Assist in generating and executing HCF Program T&C strategies and plans to align with program and business frameworks.
  • Ensure all T&C tasks are conducted safely, following WHS legislation and BAE Systems SHE policies.
  • Work with the T&C Manager to manage stakeholder communication for gathering data to create thorough program planning documents.
  • Lead collaboration with Operations, Quality, and Engineering for robust engineering solutions, including Design for Test reviews.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain to align procurement requirements with the T&C program, including original equipment manufacturer's training and subcontractor liaison.
  • Partner with ILS to meet training and maintenance obligations within the contract.
  • Support T&C Manager in business governance activities, including lifecycle, contract, budget and performance reviews and learning from experience opportunities.
