Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the Trade Marketing Manager, non-Managed Markets to develop trade marketing strategy for non-managed markets, in line with overall brand marketing strategy for Royal Caribbean International
  • Day to day contact with the sales team to supply all communications for their accounts as required including press, emails, point of sale, and any bespoke flyers/communications.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure that central assets and collateral are being utilized by the trade partners, and are implemented as per the brand guidelines.
  • Support the Trade Marketing Manager and EMEA Sales team to implement and execute bespoke campaigns and marketing support for key accounts via online channels.
  • To be a day-to-day contact for all relevant agencies: i.e. creative agency, Trade Fulfilment, distribution house. Attend weekly all agency status calls and keep up to date with consumer marketing plans and activities that we can leverage and communicate to the Trade.
  • Keep up to date with the competition activities in key markets and prepare monthly reports with keys initiatives and promotions.
  • Support Planning & activation of new deployment announcements/GTM updates/toolkits.
  • Develop and send out the EMEA weekly newsletter “Royal News of the Seas”.
  • Write briefs as required for Supplier Tasks to ensure accountability & timelines are provided/delivered.
  • Manage translations with external vendors, and with the EMEA markets to ensure adapted collateral are delivered at highest standards.
  • Support on the development and delivery of intensification campaigns in key markets.
  • Support on developing artworks, banners and branded merchandise for key markets and events.
  • Ownership of the end-to-end delivery of the weekly flash sales and monthly campaigns including writing T&Cs, briefing creative and delivering to trade partners through all touchpoints and channels.
  • Own Weekly Trade Comms Plan (Social, HTML) considering business focus and needs, sharing across EMEA.
  • Developing, monitoring and adjusting email marketing strategy for EMEA markets with the goal of increasing trade partner engagement and creative delivery of key messages.
  • Build and deployment of Focus, Product, Deployment & Personalised Trade Comms.
  • Weekly reporting and analysis of email performance.
  • Copywriting responsibilities across HTML & Social.
  • Trade Database, general housekeeping, performance & development plan for segmentation.
  • Developing, monitoring and adjusting trade social media strategy.
  • Create weekly industry leading and innovative social media content communicating brand USPs and destination to share with the EMEA markets.
  • Working closely with creative agency to bring all content, including video content, to life.
  • Regular reporting and analysis of social performance, adjusting processes accordingly to respond to report findings and EMEA markets’ feedback.
