Responsibilities

  • - Strategize and execute local charitable contributions activities including but not limited to; grant database administration, ensure proper administration of budgets, adherence to CFG giving guidelines and SOPs and compliance with all policies and procedures of the Citizens Philanthropic Foundation and Citizens’ giving committees.
  • - Utilize data-driven approach to make strategic, need-based philanthropic recommendations for the local market and utilize this data to educate key stakeholders.
  • - Regularly track and report metrics/measurement/results of charitable giving initiatives and demonstrate business impact.
  • - Support state level government affairs relations including staying up to date on current issues and trends, assistance in arranging meetings as appropriate and making connections on behalf of the bank.
  • - Work with Director of Public Affairs to position senior leaders strategically in local business, civic and non-profit communities.
  • - Increase visibility of bank’s charitable giving activities through content creation, media and social media recommendations.
  • - Liaise with internal business line partners to create and communicate consistent community messaging internally and externally.
  • - Manage and execute colleague engagement (volunteer) programs on a local level; identify local colleague volunteer opportunities including skills-based opportunities to populate the volunteer portal.
  • - Develop and execute activations to support signature initiatives including, Workforce Development and Financial Empowerment.
  • - In partnership with Community Development Market Manager, execute key economic development initiatives with local charitable contributions for CRA credit.
  • - Partner with Sponsorships Team to identify and activate corporate sponsorships in the local market to ensure the greatest public relations value while adhering to all public affairs policies and procedures.
  • - Prepare event briefs and speaking remarks for Executive Leadership and staff at community events, as appropriate.
  • - Strict adherence to corporate risk and compliance guidelines and policies to ensure favorable audit results.
  • - Track and report metrics/results of charitable giving initiatives and demonstrate business impact.
  • - Represent the bank in the community attending various external events and volunteer activities.
