Responsibilities

  • Lead the Global Supply Chain function. Responsible for the formation and execution of global supply chain strategy. Including, but not limited to, S&OP, Sourcing, Inventory, and business analytics.
  • Formulate, recommend/implement strategies, establish appropriate metrics, modify existing plans, ensure all areas are following applicable policies, procedures, laws, etc. Provide strategy and guidance to production, materials management, and procurement; oversee the global cost of supply chain.
  • Drive continuous improvement thinking, methodology, tools and processes through all levels of the organization.
  • Responsible for approximately $300M of inventory. Set appropriate finished goods and component safety stock levels for Manufacturing plants, Distribution Centers and OEM partners. Monitor, analyze, disposition excess/obsolete inventory. Ability to manage complex inventory variables.
  • Forecast site demand as part of production planning process. Manage Smoothie and Resources Requirements Planning (RRP) process to set production goals by area. Review, analyze and recommend changes as needed to the Supply Chain. Communication link between production, Operations, Commercial team, Customer Service, and the rest of company.
  • Provide representation of Design Team and enterprise leadership. Provide stock dates for new products. Coordinate manufacturing integration with simultaneous engineering. Resource for expertise in Bill of Material, MRP, all manufacturing systems.
  • Provide product availability information to Sales, Marketing, Management. Track and report back orders, service level. Maintain product coding in LCSS. Resolve invalid or unshippable customer orders. Maintain planning system expertise for the configuration, setup and execution of the ERP systems.
  • Formulate appropriate organizational structure(s) and talent requirements to effectively implement operational strategies. Develop, recruit and retain competent personnel. Participate in interviewing, hiring and training key personnel. Plan, assign work, appraise performance, reward, performance manage employees, etc.
  • Formulate world-wide supply chain strategy based on current and evolving circumstances. Coordinate all divisional activities to meet overall corporate wide objectives.
  • Interface with highest level contacts inside and outside company to complete assignments, negotiate/execute major contracts resolve problems, etc.
  • Ability to lead other Operational functions that encompass the entire supply chain process as needed
  • Perform other related duties as requested by Executive Management or Board of Directors.
