Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Understand and translate their needs into technical directions for the offshore team. Ensure that findings effectively communicate risks and impact to users.
  • Risk Management: Identify and manage potential risks to ensure business expectations for new products are met and issues during production rollouts are minimized.
  • This role will contribute the firms Information and Cyber Security strategic mission to support the CC@40 objectives and make the firm a secure place for our people and data.
  • Security Culture: Adhere and improve upon the Values, Mission, Principles of the firms Information and Cyber Security function.
  • Analyse vulnerability scan results and prioritise remediation efforts based on risk and impact.
  • Collaborate with IT and application teams to implement security patches and fixes.
  • Monitor and track the status of identified vulnerabilities and ensure timely resolution.
  • Provide regular reports on the status of vulnerabilities and remediation efforts to senior management.
  • Assist in identifying service improvements in processes currently utilised by Cyber Security team and suggest methods in which these could be altered to provide more benefit.
  • Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques.
  • Assist with security awareness initiatives.
  • Participate in incident response activities.
  • Support the firm's security strategy and programme by assisting where needed, e.g., helping to carry out threat monitoring, research, and elements of policy change and programme delivery.
  • Assist with the implementation and testing of new applications and projects to aid the work of the Cyber security function.
