We'll be announcing our second production soon so keep an eye out for that. Finally, we are delighted to be a Gold Star society for the 8th year running, as well as being the 'Society of the Year' in 2020!
Membership All memberships cost £2. Purchasing a membership will give you access to all aspects of the society. This includes; discounted tickets to our shows, the opportunity to audition or be involved in the production team of a show, discounted theatre trips to the west end, invitations to end of show parties and cast mixers, weekly improv classes, workshops from west end stars, pitching and voting on the plays you would like the society to produce, running for a sub-committee position and much, much more.
Events and Activities This year we're hoping to return to our usual 5 productions with plans in the works for a potential extra show in Summer Term. We'll have two shows in Michaelmas term as well as out Musical Revue just before Christmas. In Lent Term there will be the opportunity to audition for another show as well as our end of term Musical.Alongside the productions, we will be organising theatre trips to West End shows - of which you can attend for a discounted price. We will also be holding socials and cast mixers regularly throughout the year. In 2019/20 these included society dinners, a Christmas party, the Bernard Shaw Awards and potentially over 100 trips to Shakespeare Head (the drama Wetherspoons!). While these events largely moved online last year we successfully launched our drama families scheme and put together plenty of online social events throughout the year and a few in person events when we could.
