The team is based in our warehouse situated on the Unipart site in Cowley, however this post involves rotation across all Oxford Trust sites.
 
Training and qualification

The Pharmacy Stores and Distribution team is responsible for receiving in pharmaceutical stock, maintaining stock levels, checking deliveries for accuracy and putting stock away ensuring effective stock rotation.
 
Picking, checking and packing medication to go to wards and other areas of Pharmacy.
 
Visiting wards and departments on a rotational basis to conduct pharmacy top-ups, ensuring that ward stock inventories are maintained safely and accurately.
 
We are looking for a Band 2 Pharmacy Distribution Assistant to join our team based in our warehouse on the Unipart site in Cowley, This is a full time post (37.5hrs per week) however part-time flexible working options would also be considered.
 
Previous Pharmacy experience is not essential.
 
The candidate will be required to work towards an NVQ level 2 in pharmacy services if they do not already hold this qualification, this will be supported by our Education and Training Team.
