What is the primary focus of the Business Applications & Data Services Graduate Internship?
The primary focus is to support the information and technology environment within the Laboratory, including areas such as Project Management, Networking, Telecommunications, Software Development, Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and IT Customer Service.

We are seeking energetic graduate students pursuing degrees in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, System Administration, or Information Engineering Technology.
What skills are required for this internship?
Required skills include excellent verbal and written communication, effective time management, detail-oriented organization, collaboration in team environments, knowledge of Windows, Mac OS X desktop administration, Linux, and the desire to learn more about Information and Technology.
Are there any preferred qualifications for this internship?
Yes, preferred qualifications include proven customer service experience, knowledge in data analytics, experience administrating Linux, Windows, Mac systems, and knowledge of Cybersecurity, as well as PMP or related Scrum certifications.
Is prior experience necessary to apply for this position?
While prior experience is not explicitly required, knowledge and relevant coursework in the specified areas are expected. Experience in delivering customer service is also desired.
Where is the work location for this internship?
The work location is onsite in Los Alamos, NM, with the potential for occasional telework from a location within a two-hour ground commute to Los Alamos.
