Responsibilities

  • Shadow team members performing their roles, including the Furniture Resource Management team, learning about the design, space planning, and logistics needed to support an office and attain both functionality and beauty.
  • Major duties include, but are not limited to, antique/unique (AU) furniture management and interior design services, project coordination, customer service and outreach, and research of historic furniture styles and records.
  • Attend office visit consultations, take meeting notes, and document existing conditions (including taking photos and measurements)
  • Development of furniture plans and renderings
  • Assist with the specification of furnishings (to include furniture, casework, carpet, upholstery, and drapery selections)
  • Generate professional and visually appealing schematic design presentations for virtual and in-person client meetings
  • Assist with the research and collection of data pertaining to the preservation and restoration of AU and historic furniture of the House
  • Assist in the logistical coordination of furniture delivery and repair.
