What is the pay rate for the Intern position?
The pay rate for the intern position ranges from $18 to $20 per hour, based on the current class year.

How many hours per week will interns work?
Interns work up to 18.5 hours per week during the semester and up to 37.5 hours per week between semesters when not attending classes.
Where must interns be located while working?
Interns must be located in New York State or an immediately adjacent state while working.
What kind of software experience is preferred for this internship?
Experience with GIS software, ideally ESRI's ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS PRO, and ArcGIS Online and/or QGIS, is preferred.
What are the primary responsibilities of this internship?
Interns will geocode addresses, create map images, conduct spatial analyses, assist with data compiling, and help create dashboards and visualizations, among other tasks.
