What are the program dates for the Summer 2025 Editorial Internship?
The program dates are from June 2nd, 2025 to August 7th, 2025.
What is the location of the internship?
The internship is hybrid, with the option to work on-site in the North Adams office up to three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) or remotely.
What is the weekly schedule for the internship?
The interns will work 28 hours per week, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a one-hour lunch break.
What is the pay rate for the internship?
The pay rate for the internship is $16.50 per hour.
What types of tasks will the interns be responsible for?
Interns will assist with reviewing submissions, brainstorming new book ideas, conducting market research, copywriting and basic editing, visual presentations, and attending meetings.
What educational or skill requirements are needed to apply?
Applicants should be interested in a career in publishing, majoring in communications, journalism, English, or related fields, have strong MS Word skills, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a creative mindset.
