  • The Compliance Officer will have knowledge of laws, regulations and written directives applicable to the business operations of the Corporation, including, but not limited to, associated regulation across France and UK and broad experience in fields such as law, regulatory compliance, business administration and healthcare. Candidates for this compliance role will thus need to be highly commercial in orientation and the role will necessitate broad stakeholder management, both internally and externally.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the Office of Compliance team by developing and maintaining an effective compliance program for the Corporation and updates that program as necessary and in a timely manner.
  • Drafts and/or oversees the development of policies and procedures to support an effective compliance program and compliance with all statutes, regulations and written directives applicable to the Corporation and its various business units.
  • Maintains a good understanding and level of knowledge of existing and emerging regulatory compliance and rules and regulations applicable to the Corporation, including but not limited to FCPA, Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Corruption.
  • Provides guidance, advice and/or training and educational programmes to improve employees’ understanding of laws and regulatory requirements applicable to their functions.
  • Liaises with executives regarding specific compliance questions, policies, & sensitive investigations.
  • Prepares clear and concise compliance reports for management and VP & Senior Compliance Officer.
  • Reviews and evaluates changes in corporate compliance regulations, policies, procedures and practices.
  • Participates as a member on internal committees related to compliance.
  • Must be willing to travel.
