Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process for the RJTI program, ensuring compliance with DoD and federal cybersecurity policies and regulations
  • Conduct system categorization, security control selection, implementation, assessment, and continuous monitoring activities
  • Develop and maintain RMF documentation, including System Security Plans (SSPs), Security Assessment Reports (SARs), and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms)
  • Perform security control assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of security measures and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Utilize the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) to manage RMF processes and documentation
  • Collaborate with system owners, information system security officers (ISSOs), and other stakeholders to ensure systems are secure and compliant
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts to address identified security weaknesses
  • Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents, and support incident response activities as needed
