Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership and guidance to assigned staff, including:
  • Providing feedback and coaching
  • Support professional development of staff and help staff find opportunities for development
  • Conducting annual performance evaluations
  • Recommending salaries and
  • Defining and following up on staff performance targets.
  • Ensures assigned staff are effectively engaged on projects
  • Contributes to development, improvement, and implementation of the corporate policies
  • Work with senior leadership to develop a clear vision and strategy for the section and effectively communicate that vision/strategy to the team

  • Function as project manager or design manager on projects for public, private or contractor partners. Project will vary in size and complexity.
  • Provide design management or technical expertise for project delivery.
  • Oversee structural analysis and preparation of engineering drawings, specifications and tender documents.
  • Participates in periodic strategy meetings and contributes to development and achievement of the COWI Group’s strategic priorities
  • Contributes to ensuring that COWI North America meets or exceeds its target strategies
  • Provides leadership in business development and marketing activities for the Company including identifying, tracking, positioning, and pursuing project opportunities, and representing the Company in external settings including technical committees, conferences, seminars, professional bodies and business groups, and
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining relations with specified key clients.
