Responsibilities

  • Drive strategy in relation to sustainable sourcing of products, development of sustainable packaging and carbon neutrality
  • Work with relevant teams to develop sustainability plans which drive competitive advantage, including the coordination of training material and material for customer engagement
  • Drive activities which deliver against the organisation's commitments to International Plastic Pacts
  • Support new product opportunities including routes to market, cost reduction, supplier relationship management etc, identifying future and emerging risks
  • Identify process improvements and opportunities to improve sustainability practices, such as ESG reporting on packaging and carbon emissions initiatives
  • Keep abreast of Good Practice, Government Regulations and developments within the FMCG industry
