Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and administration of the Performance and Professional Development program
  • Coordinate training initiatives as required by supporting and coaching business leaders
  • Advise regional leaders and support engagement initiatives and communications
  • Support recruitment and retention initiatives and onboarding programs
  • Participate in workforce planning based on market changes and operational needs
  • Actively participate in and support talent acquisition related activities and internal CBI Health job posting practices
  • Support and administer health and safety initiatives and employee disability claims in partnership with the disability management team and operations leaders (Worker’s Compensation, modified work, leaves of absence)
  • Ensure compliance with all elements of applicable provincial legislation
  • Assist in preparing and analyzing HR metrics
  • Prepare and review employee documentation including but not limited to employee recognition, coaching, corrective actions, offers, changes of status and termination materials
  • Support and guide regional leadership in all areas of employment legislative requirements and escalate to the HR Manager as appropriate
