Responsibilities

  • Payroll & Benefit Administration
  • Oversee the recruitment process, including screening, conducting interviews (when necessary), hiring, and facilitating the onboarding process ensuring legal compliance.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on HR Company policies and workplace concerns.
  • Assist the Director of HR in leading employee relations efforts, offering coaching, counseling, and conflict resolution.
  • Lead activities aimed at improving the overall colleague experience including initiatives such as recognition programs, celebrations, employee communication, wellness activities and coordinating Hyatt's quarterly engagement survey.
  • Maintain HR documentation, manage inquiries, and oversee special projects.
  • Partner with the hotel management team to maintain a proactive safety culture. Organize routine Safety Committee meetings & walkthroughs.
  • Manage the tracking of all safety and compliance-related monthly training and annual compliance training, ensuring maximum participation and timely completion.
  • Respond to all work-related injuries, providing guidance and support throughout the reporting and resolution process.
  • Perform other duties as required.
