Requirements

Responsibilities

  • To support in designing all the LWC product ranges.
  • To help create LWC clothing mood boards at the beginning of each season which reflect White Print, the overall seasonal mood set for the whole of the business.
  • To design motif across all areas of LWC.
  • To design print across all areas of LWC – prior experience of putting artworks into repeat in illustrator is essential to the role.
  • To set up clear and accurate briefs for each LWC style and work closely with the garment tech to establish specifications for first samples.
  • To liaise with suppliers thereafter as required.
  • To be responsible for all of the admin around the logging, tracking and storing of LWC bought clothing samples and print artworks.
  • Identifying & sourcing new fabrics, yarns or components for new sample development to drive new product and range development for the customer.
  • To regularly review competitors and conduct relevant trend research.
  • To have the ability to strategically plan and to be extremely organised.
  • Ensure all designs are executed and meet your departments’ critical path dates.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the market, supplier base, competition, and customer requirements across your departments in particular.
