Responsibilities

  • Provide pragmatic legal counsel on a broad spectrum of employment matters, including complex employee relations, hiring, terminations, reorganizations, redundancies, leaves of absence, compensation and benefits, performance management, disciplinary actions, investigations, and workplace policies.
  • Collaborate on global projects, working alongside cross-functional teams to address complex employment law issues.
  • Advise on compliance with employment laws and regulations in EMEA, including GDPR, working time regulations, and collective labor law obligations.
  • Draft, review, and implement employment policies and procedures to support a fast-growing international workforce.
  • Oversee and manage employment disputes, including grievances, investigations, and external claims, and work with external counsel when necessary.
  • Deliver training sessions to HR and business leaders on employment law compliance and best practices.
  • Work closely with the People team to create and update employment contracts, policies, and separation agreements and develop relevant training programs.
  • Proactively identify legal risks and opportunities and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Monitor emerging trends in employment law, including regulatory changes and enforcement, to keep the business well-informed and compliant.
  • Lead process improvements to scale the employment law function across the organization.
