Responsibilities

  • Operate in a lead role, as mentor and escalation point of contact, to Spectrum Reach internal cross-functional teams and Ampersand, on all national and field political business.
  • Oversee execution of linear and digital campaigns from beginning to end. Monitor campaigns for any needed changes (and related make goods) by liaising with the Political Sales Team, National and Local Sales teams, Operations and Ampersand.
  • Under broader supervision, responsible for account management for the Political team, for the markets they are responsible for, in partnership with the respective Political Sales leader.
  • Work cross functionally with Pricing and Inventory to ensure that all inventory is used effectively and priced appropriately and provide guidance to Ampersand when necessary especially as it relates to high profile programming avails and overall inventory management.
  • Develop and deliver training to internal cross-functional teams, including presentations and other supporting documentation that outlines workflows and best practices.
  • Utilize data on a daily and weekly basis to identify clients with large revenue discrepancies and ensure lost revenue is recouped as quickly as possible.
  • Support Political Sales team with reporting and aid in presentation materials for internal and external meetings and events.
  • May have contact with Clients at discretion of Political team.
  • Perform other duties as requested by manager.
