Responsibilities

  • As a technical intern, work with electrical and mechanical engineers on the power conversion system designs, support emerging power conversion & power system solutions based on breakthrough cooling technologies for industrial, automotive, truck, and aerospace power conversion applications.
  • Participate in technology projects by supporting teams (local and remote resources) and working with external technology resources (Business Units, Universities and Customers).
  • Ability to identify, analyze, develop and validate advanced materials in the field of cooling of Power Conversion and Power Electronics is necessary. Communicate complicated technologies in a clear and concise way to a variety of different audiences. A good blend of technical knowledge and is required to be successful in this position.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural globally distributed teams, support specific task within the scope of work and provide updates to project manager.
  • Support project plans and deliver results on budget and schedule.
  • Support projects with partners from national labs, universities, and other research institutes.
