Responsibilities

  • External facing role, part of the Solution Architecture team that is responsible for architecting, designing and developing new payment software solutions for prospective customers, existing customers and key industry partners based upon our Vynamic Transaction Middleware product.
  • Another responsibility is providing customer and market feedback by gathering and analyzing marketplace intelligence for new requirements within the payments eco-system and translating into potential technical solutions with business requirements.
  • The primary focus is to work with clients, prospects and internal teams to analyze business needs and translate business requirements to business and technical designs in a form that can easily be understood by all audiences. As a solution architect, the individual is responsible for serving as a primary contributor in key strategic scenarios by supporting and facilitating design sessions and requirements gathering for both internal and external solutions.
  • Engaging with key prospects and customers in the pre-sales phase and transforming customer business requirements into a solution proposal based upon the capabilities of the DN portfolio
  • Monitoring architectural and business metrics to measure performance, identify areas for improvement and ensure ongoing adherence to standards and governance policies.
  • Participating in Sales planning to develop new target customers and/or markets.
  • Addressing complex technical and process issues escalated from Solution Architect teams and/or clients.
  • Drive and execute requirements gathering processes on strategic client engagements

  • Plan requirements gathering and design activities. Collaborate with product, project, and development managers to determine required resource needs, product backlog prioritization, champion delivery of feature sets via a design schedule, and work with all customer-facing team members to translate the technical solution into feature / benefit propositions for the marketplace.

  • Travel to customer sites for meetings, presentations and architectural sessions.
  • Attend workshops, meetings, and architectural sessions at Diebold Nixdorf locations.
  • Lead non-project-based activities which strengthen the organization (e.g. training, development of solution standards, pioneering of new technologies and capabilities).
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with other departments which are key to the success of the organization (e.g., Product Management, Business Development, Professional Services, Engineering, Customer Support, etc.).
