What qualifications are required for the Associate Solicitor position?
Applicants should have a minimum of 3+ years PQE, preferably with experience in personal injury, large loss, and/or casualty claims.
Is experience on the defender side of personal injury claims essential?
While defender side experience is preferred, pursuer experience will also be considered.
What types of cases will the Associate Solicitor be handling?
The Associate Solicitor will manage high value files, including catastrophic injury, personal injury, serious injury, employer's liability (EL), public liability (PL), road traffic accidents (RTA), and fatal accidents claims.
Where is the Major Loss & Casualty team based?
The team is based in Edinburgh and Glasgow, but candidates from throughout Scotland are welcome to apply.
Will there be opportunities to manage other team members?
Yes, the Associate Solicitor will have responsibilities for line managing more junior members of the team, including paralegals and NQ solicitors.
