Responsibilities

  • Manage the Blizzard people strategy and metrics, and work across Blizzard and Studios HR ecosystem to achieve results: Build and communicate a strong strategic plan and story to support Blizzard’s people strategy, track related critical initiatives and metrics, and ensure regular alignment and progress to achieve the plan.
  • Lead and participate in several critical initiatives, with a focus on change management and operational excellence: Drive responsible change across Blizzard to improve Blizzard performance, culture and the employee experience. Ensure strong alignment and governance for initiatives that have the most impact on Blizzard’s people strategy. Partner with others to draft and prepare people-related communications from the Blizzard Chief People Officer.
  • Improve Blizzard HR efficiency and effectiveness: Develop and implement plans to improve how Blizzard HR operates. This includes (but is not limited to) optimizing Blizzard policies and processes, leading HR knowledge management and accessibility, and ensuring strong communication with partners and stakeholders.
  • Run Rhythm of Business for Blizzard HR: Improve clarity, focus and predictability of current HR meetings, build shared ownership and alignment of information flow/ cascades within HR team. Own planning and execution of cyclical talent programs – working with the HR leadership team and centers of excellence to create streamlined approach and timelines for our talent programs, like performance management, compensation planning, talent and succession planning and awards. Drive and ensure a successful completion of all annual talent programs for Blizzard.
  • Improve Blizzard HR engagement: Ensure timely and relevant communications across Blizzard HR, including Studios HR partners where relevant. Partner with the Blizzard HR Leadership Team to make the HR organization an even better place to work.
  • Talent & Leadership Development: Partner with Blizzard CPO and Blizzard leadership team in executing key leadership touchpoints including the Talent Reviews, Talent Talks, QBRs and HR Team development initiatives.
  • Data Reporting / Monthly Business Review: In partnership with People Analytics create monthly data dashboards that bring together a snapshot of all critical talent and org health data to drive further data driven decision making and ensure we are striving for best in class at every opportunity.
  • Operational Excellence: Lead Blizzard efforts on HR operating model evolution to further align with MSFT/Studios HR operating model. Maintain annual operating plan financials and headcount tracking for Blizzard HR team.
  • Facilitate the agenda of the Blizzard Chief People Officer and HR Leadership Team: Ensure highly impactful meetings of senior leaders across Blizzard and Studios HR Build executive-level presentation materials to tell compelling narratives that drive decision-making and action. Drive follow-up actions to completion and at high quality.
  • Join the Blizzard Chief People Officer in several initiatives and meetings; represent the CPO and HR function when needed. Take on a large variety of tasks from the Chief People Officer as needed.
