Main duties include managing an internal archive of imagery, laying out editorial content pages, sourcing imagery, creating picture-led content, supporting digital communications and events, managing contracts with image libraries, and cropping/uploading images to the CMS.
What qualifications are required for this role?
Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience on picture desks, a strong eye for selecting imagery, knowledge of copyright laws, experience with CMS, digital archiving, and proficiency in Photoshop.
Is a background in photography necessary for this role?
While photographic skills with a camera are a plus, they are not required for this position.
