Responsibilities

  • HR Program and Policy Management: Develop, manage, and recommend HR programs and policies for executive leadership approval, ensuring consistent application throughout the organization.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Advise executive leadership on compensation and benefit programs, analyzing data to ensure competitive wages and benefits within budget constraints. Maintain fair and equitable pay systems that comply with FLSA regulations.
  • Talent Management: Develop and maintain job descriptions and performance evaluations, supporting high-quality, patient-centered care and workplace diversity. Adhere to employment law and compliance guidelines.
  • Benefit Program Administration: Design, manage, and administer physician benefit programs, including open enrollment, COBRA administration, and compliance reporting. Oversee the management of leave of absence, disability claims, and workers' compensation.
  • Communication and Employee Engagement: Foster open communication through web portals, email, and intranet, maintaining an open-door policy and facilitating town meetings as needed. Attend regular meetings with BCH and PO HR leadership
  • Policy Development: Develop and maintain an employee handbook compliant with federal and state regulations. Implement HR policies and procedures, managing performance issues in coordination with BCH HR Management.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with organizational guidelines, employment laws, and policies.
  • Retirement Plan: Manage CHPA retirement plans (401k, 403b, and 457) and work with external auditing firms for compliance reporting and audit completion.
  • Fiscal Performance: Participate in performance improvement programs, develop realistic budgets, and monitor expenditures.
  • Organizational Commitment: Set an example in customer service, actively supporting and participating in organizational initiatives.
  • HR Systems and Technology: Develop and maintain automated systems for HR program support, working with IT to implement necessary programming.
